Hi, I've used uTorrent for years but stopped getting automatic updates after I changed the code to cut out the ads (following advice from a website, I can't remember which). It still worked fine however but I started getting an error message every time it opened, 'No new version found'.

Recently I wanted to update so downloaded the installation file for the new version but it wouldn't open. I uninstalled my old version, leaving the settings and had the same problem so I deleted the programme file and same. Tried installing Bittorrent but have the same problem.

Have installed vuze, the file opened fine and have had no problem with other .exe files since. Just retried opening the installation file but it would not. Please help. My OS is WIndows XP.

 Unblock the exe 
CLICK APPLY
